If you wish to charter the Amalfi Coast without a skipper, you must have relevant experience and a Skipper's license. If you include a skipper in your bareboat charter, they will occupy one of the guest cabins and it is expected that you pay for their meals during the week. MYBA Charter Terms:
The charter fee includes the hire and insurance of the yacht, crew food and wages, and the yacht’s laundry. All other expenses, including fuel for the main engine, generators, water sports equipment, all running costs, harbor fees, all food, soft and alcoholic drinks, communication costs, and local taxes, are additional.
Thus, an additional APA allowance calculated at 30-40% of the charter fee is required. VAT is also due which is usually 10-15% of the charter fee, but may vary depending on the charter area.
